August 10, 2026 — Standardized product & variant pricing

Breaking Changed Added

Effective August 10, 2026, EcartAPI v2 returns product and variant price references through a single, platform-independent contract across all integrations:

  • price — original / list (regular) price reference. (Global)
  • salePrice — discounted price reference; always present, equal to price when there is no promotion. (Global)
  • discount — amount saved (price − salePrice); "0.00" when there is no promotion. (Global)

These are product price references only and do not affect orders in any way.
