Each cart represents an in-progress purchase session — including the items added, quantities, applied discounts, and customer information collected before checkout completion. EcartAPI normalizes cart data across platforms that model shopping sessions differently.

This endpoint is used for cart abandonment recovery workflows, real-time conversion analytics, and populating personalized re-engagement campaigns.

Note: Cart data availability and the definition of an 'active' cart vary by platform. Some platforms automatically expire carts after a period of inactivity.
